Gradačac is located 25 kilometers north of Srebrenik, between the mountains of Majevica and Trebava. Even though there are artifacts from Neolithic and Roman age found in the region, Gradačac is mostly known by its noble history during the Ottoman rule. There are many sights built to honor and remember Dragon of Bosnia . Hussein’s mosque, with its astounding narrow and high minarets, was built in 1826. The Tower clock, or sahat kula, built in 1826, also carries his name. Gradašćević family house was built in 1821, and has been restored to serve as a museum.
